Turtle Hatchery and Release

The resort’s beach has been maintained as an ideal nesting ground for endangered green sea turtles through the “Let’s Get Cracking” project.

In partnership with the National Park, a secure incubation center has been established at Six Senses Con Dao to safeguard eggs from threats including poaching. After approximately 60 days of incubation, baby turtles are ready for an ethical release directly from the resort’s beach, offering guests an eye-opening experience as they witness these precious creatures making their way to the ocean.

• April – October: Mother turtles lay eggs on the resort’s beach and around the islands

 

• May – December: Witness baby turtles released into the ocean from the resort’s private beach
