Turtle Hatchling Release
In partnership with the National Park, a secure incubation center has been established at Six Senses Con Dao to safeguard eggs from threats including poaching. After approximately 60 days of incubation, baby turtles are ready for an ethical release directly from the resort’s beach as part of our “Let’s Get Cracking” project. This offers guests an eye-opening experience as they witness – at a safe distance – these precious creatures making their way to the ocean without disrupting their first steps to the sea.
- April – October: Mother turtles lay eggs on the resort’s beach and around the islands
- May – December: Witness baby turtles released into the ocean from the resort’s private beach

Activities & Experiences
We host daily “Turtle Talk” sessions, taking guests to the heart of the resort’s remarkable green sea turtle conservation endeavors. We share insights into how female green sea turtles lay their eggs on our resort beach and the challenges they face, from predators to poaching. The “Let’s Get Cracking” incubation center, in collaboration with Con Dao National Park, serves as a sanctuary for turtle eggs, where the magic of hatchling releases happens. Through careful monitoring, hatching rates consistently exceed 90 percent, and can sometimes reach a perfect 100 percent.
