Six Senses Con Dao Wins ASEAN Spa Services Standard Award 2019
CON DAO, Vietnam – January 23, 2019 – Six Senses Con Dao has been honored with being awarded the ASEAN Spa Services Standard Award in Vietnam. The award was presented to the resort by Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Vietnam’s minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism during the 2019 ASEAN Tourism Forum which was hosted recently at the World Heritage destination – Halong Bay, Vietnam.
Successfully integrating Six Senses ethos of helping guests find harmony and balance from the inside out, while respecting individual’s precise needs and wellness goals, Six Senses Con Dao Spa delivers a special sanctuary for all the senses. The spa is surrounded by lush gardens and is set against the dramatic backdrop of Lo Voi Mountains, aligning with the belief that immersing oneself in nature will bring a positive effect on an individual’s mental health.
With a main focus on preserving the local tradition, the resort also prioritizes using locally sourced produce and ingredients, while at the same time, integrating traditional techniques in its treatments. Thus, when joining any Vietnamese signature treatment, guests will be able to explore the local culture, while at the same time, enjoying an out-of-the-ordinary experience. Other than that, Six Senses Con Dao Spa features four indoor treatment rooms, one outdoor single treatment sala, a yoga pavilion, a nail bar and an Alchemy Bar, offering a wide range of holistic wellness, rejuvenation and locally-inspired beauty treatments together with an extensive menu of signature therapies, customized yogic wellness programs and the recently launched ayurvedic treatments.
“It is truly a great honor for Six Senses Con Dao to receive the ASEAN Spa Services Standard Award. We are always striving to improve our quality of service and upgrade our products to enhance every guest’s experience while staying with us. This prestigious award, together with our last year’s recognition as ASEAN Green Hotel Standard Award, are the encouragement of all of our efforts, especially for the whole resort team who have been continually improving the available facilities and services. We are looking forward to supporting our team to achieve even more success in the year 2019,” said Hung Tran, director of sales and marketing of Six Senses Con Dao.
